Ant-man (13504km): Coal Point, NSW, AU. 110 Naish 6.6 Hucker. Not much more to say other than underpowered but got a sail in. Andy Sue and Hugo out.
Andrew Haigh (50494km): Coal Point, NSW, AU CA70 and 7.7 and 33cm weedy. Very lumpy sail, wind direction kept changing making things difficult. Spent the whole session struggling to stay upwind. SSW when rigging then swung to SSE, which is not great for Coalie as there is nowhere to rest. Still the sun was shining and I had some good company.
Byron Mcilveen (64562km): Lake Weyba, QLD, AU S2 venom 5.7, exocet RS2, select v max 31 Blowing over 35 in gusts with big chop not flat at all it was ass cheeks clenched tight many times and go for it. I was the only one on slalom everyone else gone to bump and jump as it was scary. I was hoping for a nautical beter than 30 as i was sitting at 34 and above for ages but looks like i pulled up short but it blood crazy scary I even had trouble carrying my gear to the the water it was blowing so hard. Nice sailing with the local legends again.

sboardcrazy (25251km): Patchy 10-18kts SSE Coal Point, NSW, AU 6.6m Koncept - RS2 ( 90ltre) - 33 makani weedie I usually go out with the big board when it's that patchy as I don't think I can uphaul the RS2 ( haven't perservered enough yet) but I want to get better with that combo so out I went. Boy you don't notice the chop as much using a smaller board! Much more comfortable. I'd usually rig a 7m but Tony had a 6.6m on and seemed to be going well in the gusts so i played it safe...more off the plane than on but the long comfortable runs towards Fishing Pt and Belmont in the gusts made it worth it. I didn't go as far either side as Andrew as I didn't want to risk falling off in windshadow areas. I love chop when I'm comfortably powered and not hanging on for grim death... Last run the front footstrap pulled out and I dropped a gybe in a lull. Spent the next 5 mins in shark alley with one leg draped over the board, the other hanging in the water and the sail in the air waiting for a crawl on waterstart..Felt like 20 mins ( shark / shark / shark.. ) ..Time to call it a day. Proud of myself for coping and enjoying the patchy conditions . Feel my stance is improving and I'm hoping for a more powered up version Tuesday.. Andrew , Tony , Hugh
