6.6m Koncept - RS2 ( 90 ltre) - 19 delta

 then 79ltre falcon

Could have used a 7m but the forecast was for 30kts so played it safe and the 6.6m was fun and got a few powered up bearaways. Got the best gust of the day with the big board 31.7kts bugger pity I wasn't on the falcon - got 31.8 on it the first run once I changed down.

 Wow! Some flat water! Not Budgy glass but flat . 19 delta was bottoming out at times on the gybes if you didn't plane out..funny you'd end up with the sail flipped and ready to go and just sitting there on the bottom waiting for a gust to get going

Really enjoyed the longer runs. Great fun!

 Tired now. Hope I left enough in the tank for tomorrow forecast big SW.

Mistral Speed 95 and Overdrive 7.0. Patchy NW 0-20kts. Fun day but more off than on.

l must have been looking at the wrong day`s forecast as i took only my small gear..used the 58wide old sonic with the 7m severne race and 19delta as well as 25 weedie. It was unusually shallow in the middle and to the sides...still a pleasant day`s sailing for me. the water was nice and flat though the wind a bit patchy. Have seen worse.

Obviously missed the better gusts but congrats to all who didnt!

  tomorrow should be better.. good to see the guys again after being a way for a few weeks to Burrum etc...
