First sail at the home beach following windfest cyclone and floods. Really just wanted to dial in the sandbanks now that the beach has been heavily eroded. Intentionally went big board and small sail, just in case it was wall to wall debris, but as it happens, was pretty clear once through the soup at the shoreline.
Fanatic 112 FSW, Ezzy 6.5 Lion, BP Race 34. Gear felt really small and chuckable after sailing big slalom gear at Burrum. Great fun B&J sail.

Fun morning session at Green with Cam and Loch, only had until 1130 before the water ran out on a large fast moving tide.
Used Isonic 80, Overdrive 6.2 and Tribal SW 27 and 23

Green Island, QLD, AU Nice little session on GI before the tide ran out with Kel&Lach .
Wind was in the 19-24 range & water only smoothed out in the last 5-10mins (big tides)
Finally got to try the new E9 6.4 & RRD Xfire V 9 90 with tribal Sw 29 then 27 .
Very happy with the new toys ...!!!
We were looking for more wind but overall a nice introduction to the new kit -both keepers ...!!

A frustrating afternoon ruled by wind squalls - rigged up Freddy's 5.4 Neil Pryde and 430 rdm mast in expectation of a massive gale - which did not quite materialise. Thought I'd enjoy a small sail. Ian and James and Ed and Mandy came down and we all had a great time, when Ian and I left, Ed and James were making the most of a late increase in the wind Gods. I will go down tomorrow with my 7.2 and 8.2 and 6.4 just in case. Tore my first sail up in three years yesterday, the 6m Gator is looking somewhat worse for wear and probably needs the panel above the boom replaced as I crashed through it. As my mate Ed says, "they're here for a good time not a long time." Looking forward to hearing reports from Ed, Ian, and James. Hope everyone else has been getting out amongst it.

2784 days ago Port Douglas, QLD, AU Another dodgy sail in port douglas wind was up and down like a' street hoars undies'..heaps of sea weed and rough..did more water starts today than i did all last season..Wind came in solid just on dark..Sailed with james Ian and Andrew..think james was the most consistent, Ian did a couple of speed runs when the wind was blowing and Andrew got some good runs in till the wind dropped for half an hr... Don't like rigging up for less than 75kms...have had better sessions.....

Back to the slop of Keppel bay. Quick hit out after big day packing up camp at Agnes, driving home and then unpacking. Went for a NM on last run and felt good until fin slipped about three quarters of the way through. Lot messier than sailing down at Agnes.

Hello Mobsters. This is the first time on the water since my Mt biking injury in December. Wind was fine on the way out over to the other side of the lake. Wind was not fine on the way back.
Weekness in left arm noticable but not crippling.
Hopefully a couple more days of wind before the season ends here on the Sunshine Coast.
In the wind.............. .... ..... .. . ..
