2782 days ago Quick Lunchtime sail. Looks like I got lucky with the wind strength from 12-1pm. Spent half the time messing about with the boom loaner (thanks Eckers). Only had 2 bearaways to speak of. The W49 handled the choppy conditions better than I thought. Wind died right off, a sign to get back to work !!

2782 days ago Primbee, NSW, AU WNW to WSW during the day. Max wind gust about 35 knots or so
On the water about 10am in lightish. gusty wind that was mainly at the Yacht Club end. A bit of standing around but the wind finally filled in making the run to Windang and back good fun. Quite pleased with the iS107 and the BP fin - required a light back foot. After an hour I was in for a rest and decided to rig the 6.2 to go with the iS80. This was the windiest part of the day - from about 12 - 1:30. With the increasing wind the chop followed suit. Towards the end of this hour I was at the upper end of the sail and stuggling a bit. I found it quite hard to bear away with any conviction. The sky got dark, the temperature dropped and some scattered rain fell. Time for another break!
Back out after lunch and the wind had swung to the WSW making the runs a bit shorter. The wind had also backed off and was quite patchy. The water was a lot calmer and was still good fun on the mainly under powered iS80.
Great to catch up with the team and Primbee regulars. A good westerly to start the season.

then sunny again this arvo. High tide all day, weed washed into shore, a few branches still out there.
Only two amigoes out today, have they lost a bro. 32kt max on the wind sock, probably more.
You know Tabou 95l Rocket NP 5.8 Evo6 [At Last] I can retire the Evo6, maybe tomorrow.

It would have been nice if some wind hung around for the afternoon shift. Managed to plane around for a while but it was very disappointing for Phil, Gerry and myself.
