Walshy and Rick were on 80l slalom/speed and allmost cracked 40! Awesome! You guys and Hugh were looking good. Really think Walshy would be good on our team lol From no Steves too two Steves would be amazing then bang a Huey in there haaa. Just saying haaaa. 7.1 Ka Race 22 kestrel 100l Patrik. Light to moderate SSW breeze when I first arrived so I went with what I rigged and was OK for about an hour but then it picked up to fresh and I was a bit overpowered in the gusts and found it hard to get the board to bear off, (ended up moving the mast base almost all the way back) & struggled with a loss of strength when I got cold from falling in so I called it a day.
Plenty of guys and a gal out having fun. Saw Byron's black stingray today, think it was waiting for him.

2781 days ago Well, not much wind about today, bit of a let down really. But I got my new Simmer boom, thanks Gareth! and got quite a few gybes in and went for a long cruise up to Peel st and caught up with Old Pete, so could have been worse!!
