Not a day for the record books, but hey I got wet. Waited till the hail and lightning passed then headed out with the 7.0, It dropped off really quickly so I could only plane in the odd gust, otherwise hitting the bottom. Glad to catch up with the crew and focus on getting new boom and harness lines set up. Hopefully tomorrow delivers.

Well done to those who headed out in the hail & lightning, not for me. I'd never seen a sail trashed like Tezza's. like it'd been shot with a shotgun !!!

morning starts to pick up, then no wind walk home, about 2pm storm arrives 30knts for 20mins with hail. Sail down to near caravan park, then no wind walk home. the days highlight was watching nudie and stu flying along in the hail storm.

Well I wasnt struck by lightning and my sail wasnt destroyed by the hail so I'll take that as a win. I was just happy to get on the water for the first time in a few weeks, even if it was short and crazy. Good to see everyone.
