Another gusty high tide session at Liptons, went with the 5.4, 48 and 24@42deg. right choice this time, I think the 5.8 would have been a tad too much in the gusts.

Had Ratz and Strop for company, thought there might have been a few more.

I was thinking of going over to point Grey as it was wsw and not getting into liptons bay very well at all. But Ratz reported it was just as gusty over there, so I saw no point in braving the channel.

Luckilly the chilly river water hadn't overpowered the high tide warm seawater, so it was almost pleasant in.

Melville Beach, WA, AU, Gave the river a go after work today on the old starboard contoller292 with my 7.5 overdrive. Really learnt how good we have it in Mandurah and my respect for the Pinaroo guys has also certainly shot up. Sailed with Boz at the end of the session and a quick catch up with Kenny too.

Peel Inlet, WA, AU

well that blew out a few cobwebs

very frontal on/off kind of sail

water was a bit too bumpy for me to get any decent speeds

stroppo made it look easy though.

nice to sail with him and mike.

used the usual iso 107 with a 33 tribal weedy and a 6.2 severne overdrive.

Yew!! My watch works on my mac!!! a simple firmware update fixed the problem. Thanks to everyone for the great help.

First post with the watch. An amazing session at sandy bay. No records but warm, clear water with dugongs, rays and sharks.

Thanks firie for the epic pics!! need to find out how to upload the pics here!!

Happy sailing MOB! well done on the cup!!

Well done fellas. I went down to have a look - lots of run-off water, high tide, decent breeze, and the whole thing looked like a Coca Cola slushee and about the same temperature. Too cold to even go blouse shopping on-line.
