 I hit a crabpot floating line at full tilt. Have torn bicept off from elbow. Several hours in emergency to be told I will have to organise ultrasound myself but will probably require surgery to rejoin. SHIT! Looks funny with my bicept in a bunch halfway up my arm and in my armpit.

Huge thanks to Tony and Andrew who derigged for me and packed my car.

Ok. Completely ruptured 2 bicept tendons at elbow. Surgery Thursday. Possibly a loooong time before I can use that arm (without reinjuring) properly to windsurf. May have been the shortest 'comeback' ever.

Mikey, Andrew Simonds came back from the same injury, you can too! From memory, recovery takes about 4 to 6 months, depending on the severity of injury and rehab progress. You'll be able to sail Windfest 2018.
