Went to Mt Hotham for two last blast days and just got back to Sandy Point in time to have a blast with Hajime in a WNW 20-27 knots on the Yanakie Channel before dark.
Started on the IS87 and Tribal 27 Weedspeed because I was not sure about the wind reliability as it seemed quite gusty. Got up the back to find it was pretty good and after few runs I snagged a good gust and saw over 38 knots peak. I quickly went back and grabbed the speed board but when I got back the wind had eased a bit. Tried a few slow runs and went back and changed to the JP70 Slalom with 25cm Lessacher LW30 25cm. Another few runs and it was getting dark fast so we packed it up.
Great little blast! There is forecast for a proper SW 20-30 kts tomorrow morning. Hopefully we can get another blast!
