hoppybogan (25974km): Stansbury, SA, AU SSW 12-15 then 15-20+ 102,6.6, 28weed Late sail on the chop. Tomorrow should be better
Sammy (43182km): Got to the lake a little after 1. Carl. Trousers and yetti were there also plenty of others. I didn' pack my small gear as it was light when I left. Should have 20 to 25knots. Also was wo dering why my board bag had feedback on it when I packed it. Then when I went to take the board out the zip was buggered. Got the zip unstuck opened the bag and stupid me had grabbed my old board. What a dick. I sailed the 7m blade with my old 111 falcon and a 42.5 fin. Way more board and sail than I needed. Was fun all the same. Carl was carving up the lake and getting some good speeds.
Captain bogan (50569km): Great arvo sesh with Sam, Shane t, Trousers, Dimond, Leon and Jacko and later Darren. About to rig big and the wind kicked like the forecast said. Was going to complete a 1 hour but was too messy and gusty and too hard on small kit. Ended up cruising around trying to find anything sort of flat as most of the lake was choppy. Had some fun bearaways up the top that were crazy at some poiints. All in all great sesh and finished the day with bread with chicken and snag sangas with Nicola, Shane T, Gordy and Sam. Thanks for the dinner guys and Darren for the beer. Sam was cranking on the big gear - well done mate! Boggy lake - 20 to 25 Patrik 87/6.3m gun sails GSR / Black project R325.
Sellicks Bogan (7276km): Boggy Lake, SA, AU what a day chop fest, overpowered and hard work, really feeling it today. great day with the bogans. 97 isonic, 34 bp speed weed, 6.7 gastra vapour.
Trousers (14352km): elBog, SA Very south, very gusty, very lumpy Late post, trouble with Trouser's interwebs. While not the windiest, this direction served up some of the biggest rollers Ive seen on Bog. man it was a hot mess in there at times. Makes Sam and Carl's numbers above even more impressive...nice racks. And other Shane, nice peak in there!! I was a bit overcooked on my i97,6.2OD,325bpr but good day out with a large enthusiastic crew. Roll on those seabreezes lads!
