Fangy's with Scott Malone until Jonski came to do the night shift.  The plan today was to do a nice crayon picture. Here it is:

With Basil posting early this morning, I was feeling under pressure to back him up. Plus I like windsurfing on the magic carpet. Not so much wind today, around the 14 knot mark, but the tide was around the 55cm mark which is close to ideal. As usual, Barge, Koncept 7.5 and FF24. I sailed from the first tack at Nairns until the end of the session without dropping a gybe, which for a change, is a PB for me that I actually tried to get. The only downside was that I was boiling like a cooked crab by the end. I came in from the arvo shift and tagged in Jonski to do the night shift. Lots of sunshine, blue skies, clear water and a good time on the carpet of smooth.

Coodanup, WA, AU Isonic 110, Warp 8.0 and rough finish FF24 Great start to the wife and kids weekend in Bali 😎 got the lowdown from the Fangster and took over patrol duties with the kit choice being just perfect. Oaf soon joined me and we had a good session blasting over the smooth. Also picked up an F2 Missile (49 Wide) today using the profits from my bitcoin investment therefore this could be classed as a free board unless bitcoin keeps rising in which case it could’ve the most expensive board i will ever buy.

Boggy Lake, SA, AU

SSW 8-15 knots-FF111-Simmer Race 7m-S11 37.5cm (started with Patrik 100 but but enough wind)

Happened to look at boom clamp rope and thought to myself must change it, welll.....

Great day, planing most of the time, 7.8m would have been choice sail. Session ended when at top of the lake heard some ominous creaking from boom clamp area thinking mast was about to let go, then bam boom let go and into the drink. Thought the worst but after untangling was the damn rope that finally let go after years of sailing! Swam unwind then used the uphaul rope as emergency clamp rope and mad e a dead run home. Uphaul ropes are now muti-pupose:-)

Fun evening sail in the smooth. Nice Chat with Stroppo while rigging and fun blasting up and down in the smooth with Jonski, then a quick de-rig in the sunset. Awesome fun!

I'll back up Basil's very consistent and rounded results later tomorrow. My session is however somewhat lacklustre:-\

PJ, good to hear the self rescue worked. Why does stuff always break when you are the furthest from base camp?Undecided
