Coal Point, NSW, AU. Great day watching the GPS round. Really weird NEer for me, just didnt seem to have any power behind it until after 4pm. Blew out the clew on my favorite sail big time (5.6 Hucker).

10-16kts E then 10-19kts ENE Coal Point, NSW, AU

No 3 GPS series

7.5m GT Turbo - RS4 (111ltre) - 38 makanie weedie

 then RS2 ( 90ltre) - 7m NCX - 33 makani weedie

Mega boat wake. I didn't really enjoy it as the boards were too big for the chopped up water but there wasn't enough wind while I was out to use a smaller one.

Went in the first 30min race although I could have cut it a little bit short as it was kicking in and I wasn't going to risk another run with the big kit. Tried to just relax and conserve energy. Only droped one gybe ..right in front of the camera while Andrew was taking pics..Undecided Wink

Still wore me out..Foot in mouth

Rigged the smaller kit to try and get some photos. I aaked for a photo shoot for Xmas..Smile..Not really the day for it as I was pretty stuffed by then and after a a few short runs for the camera I was feeling a bit iffy. Last run I was really crook and had to rest a fair while before I could drive home..Came good though..

Came in flatout for one photo shoot and I left it too late to change to overhand grip to go into the gybe so I did an unintentional great laydown finish before I hit the jetty..Hope he got it.. ..Been watching too much Luderitz,,Wink. I didn't go for any speed as it was too lumpy.

Fell in a bit more than normal today and found waterstarting tiring but i also pulled off a lot of  dry gybes out in the slop so I'm proud of myself for that..Cool

Heaps out ( + every b boat around..Yell ) . I'll be so glad when school hols are over..Smile

It came in really nicely after 4pm but I was too stuffed to even consider it..

NSW GPS round coal point.

so many boats and people on water it was a bit crazy but we had had good wind.

in the end nice 7m and 90l.

great to see 20 people competing in trying conditions but in a picturesque place and good to have Remi who was smoking and making me feel slow. Walshy and Justin were also super quick.

every one is improving so much nothing like pushing your self agains friends.

Not sure what we have to do to get people to come to such a nice place and join in especially with such a great forcast and friendly people trying a diferent location is like going on holidays.

Coal Point, NSW, AU Ouch, These 30 minute sail runs are hard going. Fitness failed me 6 minutes on the first heat and 15 on the second. No way even starting in the third heat. This was a good days sailing at Coal point and i should sail here more often. good to see a good Sydney mob enjoy the conditions as it was NE 20 knts after the 1st heat... Fanatic 110l weed fin select big?, sailworks xt 7.1 race.

What a day at Coalie?!?!? ..used the 7.8m twice and the 7m in the third race. As usual i took only the large boards as it never gets all that windy... does it?!?  Of course it did and l did miss my 67 wide board a the 75cm wide was just too flighty. Excuses aside....it was a testing day for sailing and the big boys did smile a lot more than usual!

Huge thanks to Steve, Murray and Byron and of couse everyone that made this happenning possible!

may hav missed the start but was the best session, over the sand flats & long runs side to side.

got a distance pd to top the day off.

GPS event, nice day at Lake Mac . Thanks to organisers and competitors for a great day of sailing and socialising.

15-20ish knot N/E. First 2 races Futura 122 and 7.8 switchblade. Then Ray 102 and 7m R6 overdrive.

Just noticed I got a PB for distance. So that's why I feel a BIT worn out. Still keen for more tomorrowLaughing
