Gps not showing 2 second peak.

Alphas also incorrect.

Top speed over 10 seconds was over 31 knots.

First time use of 5.4 KA , pryde carbon boom and 26cm weed on the 90lt JP.

Room for improvement in a stronger breeze.

Good to know I broke the 30 just a shame my GPS let me down.

Note: edited by Paddles to be numbers as per Decrepit's post below due to Jonno's GPS settings

Nine pb’s!!!!!!!!! Count em, nine. Well done you guys. My effort consisted of two high speed crashes in the first run and retired tail between legs after two km. Spent the rest of the session watching locals doing 35-40 kt runs.

I've checked John's file. Unfortunately ithe Canmore had reverted to 5second logging.

At the moment we don't know if the Canmore, set to 5s, records a single very short sample or a 5second average.

His best 31kt only has a 28kt and 29kt either side, so there's no certainty a 2sec average would even be over 30kts

However, John's second best 31kt, has another 31kt and a 30kt either side, So this means there's at least 5s over 31kts.

Based on this I've come up with these numbers from GPSResults.

2s 31.160, 5x10 29.816, 1hr 13.001 @500 19.794, NM 24.179, dist 39.099km.

And GTC admin are happy for these numbers to be posted, so Paddles or JV can just transfer them to the appropriate fields.

Looks like John is lucky because the rules should say 1s recording for Canmores, GT11s and GT31s, but somehow they got

wiped in the last update. The move is on to put this 1s rule back in place.
