Turned out better than I expected...thought I had got it wrong rigging the 7.8m when others were rigging big but when I got out there I was nicely powered up. Very flat patches when you got up to the but choppy much deeper into the shallows. Fingers crossed it wwill be as good tomorrow.

Nice day on the water. Could have done with a bigger sail. Matt loaned me his Delta XT-50 16 to try. Thanks Matt. Loved the fin. Not one spinout, and it motored upwind nicely. Prefer this XT 50 over the previous Deltas.

Matt said hed done a over 26 alpha (AWESOME) so next 3 runs tried super hard for uey but ended up with tack alpha, HAAAAAAl. Well done Matty, Pugs, Bill, Wayno,Nath and lets not forget Paul the tank lover, geez you were flying on that. 7.1 KaRace 92 Patrik (bit small) 20 Kestre first time that set up felt nice dont think ill do that again. Go Marauders!!

HSM 6.6 CA SL55 19 Delta
Overpowered with the 6.6 90% of the time, had trouble going/getting upwind and couldn't get any puffs going downwind.
Nice to sail with Dave C, Maui Paul, Matty, Al, Pugs et al.
Never comfortable with the set up due to the gusts lifting me almost every run. Nathan got a bit close after one gybe . Bit too close matey.
Oh well it was still fun, sort of.
