Budgewoi Lake, NSW, AU

good session to be had by everyone at Peelie today...other than a few that broke some gear...sunshine and lots of guys sailing fast, smiling!

I have used my sweet little 87L isonic with 5.6 OD Severne and 16cm delta xt ...water very low today...hitting lots of weed islands...

CA44 and 6.3m 14cm Delta XT50 then 17cm Delta

Spent the day on the new speed board today, good chance to make a few adjustments. Wind very on and off. Would have been more fun on a abigger board

RS1, 5.9m, 16 fin, CASP44, 6.6, 16 fin.

All the big guys were wimping out with 6.2s & 7s etc, seemed a bit light to me, a bigger rig was the way to go. So I cranked up the board to full speed, looked for the nearest submerged sleeper & used it to demonstrate a flying double somersault.  I was getting bored with that mast, much more useful as a 3 piece. The harness line was the wrong colour,  and the bottom of the board needed ventialation anyway. Nothing like a nice walk back to shore, the water and mud  gives wonderful thigh exercise. I took that sleeper and hid it on the shore, who knows when you might need one & I didn;t want Pete nicking it.

Glad I got that done, now I could rig the 6.6 & speed board & embarrass Byron by having the bigger sail. size counts right?

Wonderfull day, more walking than sailing but my leg muscles are like steel.

Congrats on the PB's guys. That is unlucky, Bruce. Very thoughtful of you to remove the offending object so your colleagues don't suffer the same fate. Thanks mate!

Where’s the love gone in this team ? Come over to the Rough Riders, you don’t need to get 40 for your PB to be appreciated in our team 🤡 some great PBs yesterday well done 👍
