2410 days ago Kalmus, Cape Cod. First time sailing Kalmus in easterly wind. A bit gusty, the 5.0 Idol felt too big in the small chop to do freestyle but too small for speed runs when I sailed over to Egg Island (sailing on the side of the ferry lanes); quite possible that the wind was a bit lighter, the tide was not yet high. Tired after 3 days of ABK camp so stopped even before the rain came in. Nina was a bit overpowered on 4.0, but that did not keep her from freestyling, especially since the ABK folks were out on the water. She managed to slide backwards in both a Flaka try and in the only Vulcan try she did.
