Not enough fin, not enough wind or maybe it was my mojo... spent too much time trying to get up wind in the gusts. But geeze that pork was tasty

Day 2 of my storm chasing trip to Burrum Heads. An absolutely awsome sail today in the 20 to 25kts from SE. Joined by Geoff Ringe and a few of the Board Crazy crew who came up for the day. My speed board is in tha back of Glynn's van at Lake George, so I used the F-race today. I'm pretty happy with 36kts on a free race board, the Nm and alpha PB (my first non Lake George PB since 2015). Brad, Simon and Ian were in a different league today, well done. Tomorrow forecast is another 5 kts from the SSE. Chriso is coming up to share the fun.

That was the hardest 17km's I have ever sailed.
First time I sailed Mikey's little spot - had to walk the board out - little sail back across the channel, jump off - turn the board around - jump back on and hold on for 500 meters - jump off and do all over again.
The wind was not the 25 to 30 forcast - Mikey measured around the 20 to 23.
But a couple of PB's makes it all worth while - not sure if it was the spot, my new second hand sail, wearing a helmet for the first time or all of the above.
Sailed with Tristain who also PB'ed.
See how tomorrow goes!!

2102 days ago Some nice wind at the train but never really nailed any of the gusts coming through. I think it may be stronger tomorrow
