Stansbury, SA, AU FF102, GPS 6.6, FF22

Ripper day sailing with Tricky and Chris. 12-17 Southerly perhaps 20 later in the session.

Settled in for the hour with Trick in hot pursuit, after 3 hours he did get past me. Great sailing buddyCool

Chris was well chuffed back on the beach after getting a couple of gybes, niceCool

Quite a lot of scratches on the Fangy after smashing through the razor bed late in the session attempting a NM, failed attemptWink

What a cracker of a sail, chased hoppy back n forth chatching him on starboard losing ground on port finaly at the 2hr 55m mark hoppy muffed a gibe & I finaly passed him Surprised CA SL101 Loft RB 7 FF22. Started a bit light then slowly built 15 -19knts. The Fangy Crusher got a work out today chasing Hoppy on mud flats it seemed a slow tide with 3hrs of bank hugging  mowing down the razor'sLaughing

Lake George, SA, AU

Great morning session at 5 mile. Made the mistake to go and have a look at the spit when I decided to change sails. BIG mistake. No flat water when I got there and way over cooked on the 5.5 ( the smallest I have ).  Bit disapointed in myself finishing the trip this way.

May have left watch on while driving there, not sure. Anyway there is no way I travelled @ 58kph to get there Foot in mouth. The only thing that I think will change is the hour and K's. I will adjust when I get home when I find a programe to check and delete.

Well done Jacko!! It was tough out there today. Don’t worry about the outcome of a decision, that’s sailing.

Thanks every one for your kind comments.

I have amended the Hour and Alfa to zero ( found the Alfa was done on the road via KA72/Google earth , therefore the drive to the Spit must have been include in the One Hour ) and reduced K's down to 33 ( Recall that I had done 28 at the 5 mile and the GT31, which I put on at the Spit, shows I did 5 k there).

So now only 3 x PB's but a total of 7 for the four days out of the  five day trip. That in itself is a PB for meSmile

Very lucky Jacko that you weren't injured. Think about your capabilities next time it's solid 25. And as for no flat water wtf.

I know my capabilities Jimbob and always consider my safety first. As Mal had gone out I thought it was ok . I called it quits and walked back in when I was overpowered after a couple of runs.. As far as flat water,  there was non on the weed beds that I sailed over compared to what was at the 5 mile . But what would I know.
