daska 64, Sailloft 6.3, Z SLM S 33, 25-35 kt south wind

Great times speedsurfing with Pierre, Igor, Kent, and Ivica. Everyone was super fast today, 40 knots + speeds and few PBs. 

Speed spot felt really good. Definitely has potential for high speeds on a good day. Today, the wind was not quite strong enough, but it felt like runs would be faster on speed board. Slalom board with 33cm fin felt like it was close to maxing out. I did two runs on small speed board at the end, but wind changed direction and started to be up and down and gusty, so conditions were not so good any longer. 

No jibes for me today, but this place is definitely good for some fast @500. Can't wait to sail at Jadrtovac again some day

Kennedy Slicks, Cape Cod. Still cold but I just could not sit around anymore. Went on the easy gear (Skate 110, Ice 4.7) but the wind dropped 5 knots while I rigged and carried my gear, so was underpowered. Then it turned and dropped even more, which would have meant a longer swim on smaller slalom gear, so I was happy to be on the big easy. If I'd known that Boro was still sailing in Croatia, I would have gone earlier and rigged bigger to get some more reasonable numbers. Should be just a couple more weeks until we can ditch a few kg of rubber.
