Weird weather but I'll take it Wind was up early and I was on the water by 11am and although the banks were only just out the water was flat. Playtime Lots of sailors on the water by 12 ish all enjoying this extended summer. Even got hot in the wettie. Eventually the wind got a bit much for the 7.9 and it was time for some faster gear. Wore out by 4pm and the beer was calling Sl66, Lessacher 28 weedie, KaRace 7.9 Sl53, MXR 24, Koncept 6.6 | ||||||||||||||||||
Sailquik (29582km):  5 categories  Sandy Point. Vic Easterly 18-25 knots. Unusually dead East. Not the more common ENE. This made it difficult to do a 10 sec run. Had to head off into the channel and chop. Testing a different setup on a prototype 5.2m Koncept, and I think I have found something exciting. Needs to confirm with more testing in other conditions. Hope we get some more wind soon. I should have rigged 5.7 but I wanted to test this 5.2 setup.
