Been a while . last sail Feb this year , thanks for the 5.7m ka koncept and 18cm kestral fin , used the jp 84 litre slalom board , totally out of condition but glad i made the effort

Dion (8556km):

Sailed from Selton Glenn side , no dramas just a bit of walking , headed down wind with the 64 jp speed and 5.5m ka race , had some great runs just missed the big gusts again really came in solid 30 knots plus at times

Good to see Greg on the water and Germain flying around on the bobs creek side

Sailed with Mark again

Queens Lake, NSW, AU

Decided too dangerous to take the boat again today as the wind was forcast to go off , and it did at times solid 30 knot gusts , rigged the 5.7m ka koncept but when Dion turned up the front hit so decided 5.2m ka koncept and 71 litre patrik would be the go , got straight across the channel and than walked 100m over the sand bar before getting out deep enough to start , just let the board drift down wind slowly till i hit the mud bank and than it was on , had some of the best runs at Queenslake the rig today was just perfect couldnt be happer with the speed , wasnt getting any faster so pulled the pin early

The first time i have seen weed bergs on the lake for a few years which is a good sign . Hopefully we get some more westerlies and pushes the weed onto the mud bank like a few years ago ,  if so we should get some nice flat water , conditions where about as good as it gets for Queenslake in recent the difference is now  we have good fins that allows us to sail in such shallow water .

Wind angle was great as well .
