Great day, balistic and choppy early, smooth and very shallow in the middle of the day and then ballistic and very very gusty in the late afternoon. It was great to see Primbee turn it on for everyone, especially for the boys from south of the boarder. Awesome to finally meet Kato and spend a day on the water with him, just a shame we didn't have more Illawarra Speedsters out there enjoying it. I tried a few other fins later on and wanted to line up a better NM run from Windang end but ended up walking 300mts in zero wind while Tim, Fez and Terry were in ballistic condition up the other end.

I had a 45 minute window early morning and most of that was spent hunkered down in the ballistic conditions waiting for a lull amongst the occasional 50kt gusts coming through. Conditions like that you tend to realise your own limitations fairly quickly. But all the same it is still quite inspiring watching the awesome power of mother nature turning it on.
