Green Island, QLD, AU

The Sneaky Wednesday morning GI session tide got too low for the inside and a bit gusty on the outside to be using a 5.3 and after seeing that 3 metre Tiger Shark thought it would be better to come in as the tide would only be good about 3:00 onwards

On a Severne Gator 5.3 and Starboard Code 103 L Smile

Very gusty wind but it is great to be sailing again, first real sail on the Falcon 140 very happy with it.

Lake Tinaroo, QLD, AU

Now that i have had my arms surgically re-attached to my shoulders, I shall complete my report of todays events...Holy Crap, that was insane. Had to complete a day on the Tablelands, so packed some gear just in case an opportunity arose to facilitate a sneaky little afternoon sail at the dam and it all fell into place, like clock work. And, for that matter, like clock work, the brutal SE channel fed breeze monstered Tinaroo. It was white, wind driven, knarly white knucle fed, black wind shadow, pure lumpiness Tinaroo heaven....for very small gear Cry, which i didnt have Frown. So, there was nothing for it, but to just step forth and have a crack. Which I did....only it was the front of my board.....so sad. It was the harshest, most mental conditions I think ive ever sailed at Tinaroo and only softened slightly when Herb rocked up for a chat.

One moment you were just wishing you had the common sense to not start a run and the next moment you was in the water, as if the fan had been turned off. If you sailed out of the black wind line, there was nothing. Wind switched around a fair bit as well which made life a little bit of a challenge. Certainly turned an ordinary day into a fun one but. Any day you can break 30 on these big boards is awesome - Top 10 in my books.

Green Island, QLD, AU SE winds 22-30 knots .Seas rough ++.Gear Jp 2019 60 slalom speed/Evo 11 6.4 Tribal SW 27 .

Great little session on the island late in the day .Had to wait for the tide to come in so caught the 1pm boat from Cairns .

Been tracking the forecast for around 10 days & this time it held up -probably better than predicted.

Solid wind throughout the session but no smooth water so was fun but challenging.

Happy with the speeds-the JP 60 is a brilliant board-does everything you ask of it & just wants to fly .Again -really nice combo Smile

Ran out of steam pretty quickly so no alphas today -will have a crack in the morning .

Great Fun !! Wishing I had some buddies to share the session with LaughingCool
