1943 days ago Stansbury, SA, AU westerly 12-17 on and off
FF102, GPS6.6, Less28 weedy
Good days sailing with Tricky. Nice long runs in the deep but on and off the plane'
Sailed too far on Port tack and landed at Port Vincent. Wisely decided not to sail back the 12kms to Stansbury as the wind was dropping and the angle was too tight. Called the missus instead for a rescue shuttle bus back to Stansbury where Tricky had been waiting for an hour wondering WTF i was doing. Sorry buddy. Couple of beers with Trick ended a memorable days sailing

1943 days ago el bog. westerly (swinging to the north at times).
Arriving at 10:30, Christian was very lit, but quickly blew out. Then onwards it was mostly sub-eighteen knots.
So, i97/OD7.0/BPR375. I sailled with Leon, Jon and Andreas, chasing the good gusts and glugging in between.
Timed-right, there were some powered runs in very little chop - which is not how el bog westerlies usually behave at all.
Really good day, sooooo eager for the seabreeze season.

1943 days ago Just needed a sail, so a shitty westerly was it! Gusty from gluggigung / groveling to nicely planing on the CA SL 101 7m Loft RB 32 Lesscher weedie. HAd a nice planing run & Hoppy said lets do an Hr Was the hardest Hr struggling to keep on the plane. but it was a good work out. After a hour & half I stared woring my way back in in the fading wind waiting for hoppy when I decided to sail out & let him know I was headding in. When he hooke a nice run so I chased him 3/4 the way to Vincent when the wind swung& was dropping so I yelled out the I was going back. Thats the last I saw of Hoppy sailing into the distance. Got back in the dieing wind with no sign of hoppy even with the binoculars did a time cacluation on how long to wait so derigged & packed up. Some more scans of the sea with binoc's still no Hoppy So in the car to look for him. Just driving out when his loverly wife drove him back from Port Vincent. Another nervous adventue with Hoppy.
