Lake George, SA, AU Back at the Golden LAKE .Blustery Westerly 18-25 knots .Water Level High .Weed around but  high water level means not much flat water .. Learnt today that flat water near the margins means VERY Shallow -couple of shallow water crashes/walk outs in that hour today ...

Great fun though -used the Iso 2015 80 Tribal SW 25 then 27 RSR E 7 6.4.

Sailed all over looking for stronger wind/flat water ..!!

Was great to catch up with Jim Bob  & meet Peter D /Stash  from the SA Bogans I believe .

Lake Cootharaba, QLD, AU. Tacked up the lake to do an Hr but  wind picked when Ian and I got there to be gusting over 25 kts. To much for me on FOX120/36/7.0 Mach1 so had to a scary survival downwinder back to Pt. Changed down to Fox 105 and 6.2 Reflex but couldn't get comfortable in gusty wind, Out with about 15-20 sailors.

Bucasia Beach, QLD, AU

Bucasia works much better than the usual spot in a Northerly. Hard work with the long trek to the beach, but certainly worth rigging up for. Really chopped up and confused seas, very jarring with the slalom gear and a lot more sore and tired than a similar session at the usual spot. One of those days where freeride gear would have probably been quicker. CA SL70 Ezzy 7.5 Talon 42. 

Shoal Point, QLD, AU

Havent sailed up this way for 20 years so nice to get out again with Troy and local bloke Caesar, bit choppy but good fun.

Hamilton Island, QLD, AU first sail in a while wind was about 20kn NW but was droping in and out got 3 blisters on my hands had to pump to get going was on a 5.9 and 85lt board but still had fun

JP FSW 103l, 6.3 RBlade, Maui Ultra  - Lammermoor Beach, QLD, AU NNE 25-30kn

Howling 25-30kn and ended very quickly when I got caught in the shore break on my second run and broke three battens in the sail. Had a hell of a time getting gear out of the water and gave up.
