Sailed the tide up to 1.6m on the chop, then sailed it on the way down. Steep chops as the southerly pushed up against the falling tide. Saw a stingray on the way out and a 4 foot shark crossing the spit. Fish were jumping and the Turns were feeding. It was alive out there today, great day!

OMG my gw60 watch downloaded first go F'en miracle.

LG out the spit FIRST SE wind of the season ( like we are 6 weeks behind for summer sea breezes ) started 12 to 16 then was 15 to 20.

usual old F2 stoke 117 first 10 kays on 6.5 ezzy lion with 32 weedy then WHOOO HOOO 105 kays on new KA speed 5.7 with 24 weedy (shes streched in now )

spent first hour getting settings and harness line size and possie sorted, ended up with downhaul 414 and nuetrel outhaul then just sailed comfy as.

rigged absolutely superb on my rdm 98% prepeg carbon hotsails hot rod mast.

thanks Mark J for sending me the cams that arrived yesterday as was a bummer missing 3 days last week without them.

the sail whoo hoo better than I expected by far, ran 3 cams no bottom one for freeride mode as cam rotation is super important to me doing little runs and lots of gybing but shit it was so good just rotated with zero effort from me and full planing gybes sweet as . super super impressed, will try 4 next sail. very happy across the wind and blasted upwind with ease but man the bearaways just power it up can't wait till proper wind on my little jp 70 slalom as it will be a slingshot king.

not enough wind today behind the spit just cruising along there so had a look upwind and around for sweet spots.
