Belmont Bay (Slipways), NSW, AU Foil Evo, 7.0 - pretty nice S to SW breeze, but I don't know how long I can keep up this cruising, I just wanna go fast Tongue out Anyway was just a upwind/downwind test run of my repaired fin box - ALL good.

10-15kts SSW then gradually building to 15-20kts S Valentine, NSW, AU

7.5m GT Turbo- Rs4 ( 111ltres) - 39cm C3 sting pointer

 5.7m gator - WT - 25cm maui ultra wave

Should have taken the afternoon shift as by the time it came in really well I'd been out over 3 hrs and was stuffed..Undecided

Sailed with my friend who I've been introducing to shortboards ( an original wally sailor) so I hung down with him to keep an eye on him.

First 1.30hr was great . Just right for the big kit and not too choppy. So easy just laying back and going. I usually gybe in a lull but I'm starting to push myself to gybe with more speed. Quite a few offs but I also got quite a few pretty good ones where I was still moving quite well on the exit. Pretty chuffed with that..Cool

Still having lots of trouble keeping the front arm straight and going forward rather than standing up and going back..Undecided I know what to do but the body doesn't want to do it..

It started to come in and I swapped to the WT, so much fun and a cruisy comfy ride. Initially it was not quite consistent enough to stay on the plane and get upwind. Fun in the gusts but not enough of them.

Had a go at some cruiser wake but didn't plan far enough ahead and by the time i decided to try and jump it I was too close and not organised. too stuffed to really try for any more..Frown

It was just starting to get consistent enough for good upwind and fun but I was falling in a lot because I was so buggered so called it a day.. bugger , the brain said yeah , yeah yeah..Tongue outTongue out but the body said " I don't think so! ' Undecided

Unfortunately my friend has decide to sell his 125 Tabou bullit and 6m hotsails rig. He only gets out a few times a year and that's not enough to learn footstraps , harness etc etc..

Theo, Paul x 2, plus another few freeriders , a kite passed by , a few wing thingies..Rus , Andrew , Geoff and some others were going out as I went. A cameo appearance by Lyd's on the foil..flying past as I wallowed in a lull..YellWink

Valentine, NSW,

late one when wind was on the increase to 20 - 25 true south

7.0 / 114 / 38 z

should have used 99 falcon but had issue with fin fitting so went big, which ended up being just fine for my style of sailing.

Nice running across the relatively consistent chop/swell lines

A nice Sunday Southerly at Lake Mac.

The regulars out at Marmong and a few at Valentine. 15-20++ all day.

Fanatic Ray 102, 6.3 KA race , 33 Vmax. A very nice combo in the lake chop/swell and possibly my highest speed in rough water.
