HSM 6.6 CA SL55w 19cm Delta

Was blowing when I arrived so I rigged the 6.6 and went out confident the gear was the right size. It was for about the first 10-15 minutes then it started to back off gradually and almost everyone started to go in. Just one or two of us left.

I persisted with it but blew a gybe in the deep part of the channel at Buff Pt and couldn't water start as the luff sleeve filled up - tried to uphaul but no luck, so I decided to swim the rig and board into the shallower area, only took me 15 minutes.......a nice way to end a pleasant sail (not).

Plenty out today, too many to try to name but you know who you are, good to see you all.

Budgewoi Lake, NSW, AU JP slalom 102 + Sailworks 7 race. Short sail too late in the day. Last one out and last back. Good to get back to Budgie and see some friendly faces. Beats sailing on my own in Gosford. Thanks for the lend of the JP 31 Wayne.
