Majestic Point, WA, AU

Had a look at Lucky bay but looked very patchy so headed Foilville. Wind wasnt much better here as it was gusty/frontal. Decided to sail upwind to Melville which was a challenge. Scott seemed to have a better time getting to Melville. 

Had some nice runs at melville and a chat with Anita and Slowboat.

Pelican Point, WA, AU

Gusty / frontal all day. Made it to Meliville and back and then saw Kenny so sailed with him back to Melville for a second time.

Melville Beach, WA, AU iS111 then 54 Manta 5.7 Koncept, 28 vector pointer 10 - 25 kn

Started with the isonic for the 10 knot lulls but it was overboarded in the gusts. Much more comfy on the Manta even if there was some plodding in the lulls. First use of a pointer and the 5.7 (my old fave) for ages.

Good to chat with Kenny and Slowboat, who incredibly managed a 39 and was quite late back to work...

Average session at Liptons today with WindTech 64 and Tribal 20cm Delta and 7.8 Loft Racing Blade. Not many out and was a bit up and down. Nice to be on the water though as it's been a while.

Peli point in a fading breeze.

Rigged the the WT64 + 7.6 initially, but the breeze was on the wane and I was way under-cooked.  Struggled to get back upwind and had to walk part way back to the beach.

I was packing up thinking I'd been skunked when a few nice gusts around 17-18K came through, so I went out again on the M137 + 8.4 + 46 Sting and scored a few lovely runs in the last rays of daylight.  It was pretty flat by then, and it was a really nice out there.

Really glad I had another crack.
