Stansbury, SA, AU SSE 15-20+

FF85,GPS6m, 24choco

After work sail with Ja. Sailed the 85 out to the beacon  a couple of times and in across the chop.to test it out. Was real good, the 3 cam 6m sail was probably the wrong sail but could not be bothered coming in and changing it. Had 2 big splats today coming to a dead stop after hitting solid razors in the shallow. It is a real problem at Stansbury at the moment. The razors are large, up and not smashing as usual. Gunna have to stay out deeper for a while. Broke my boom head and put a dent in the 85.

Good funSmile

Rigged the Loft 7 CA Sl 101 FF22 Just nice some times unerpowered the restCry Was a struggle to keep on the plane with the boys on their 8.6 sails & bigger boards but had a great sail. Waited for Tim at the end & did that last run that was a dog  the wind dropped out & had to slugg it back the last leg. that was the worst bit of the whole day.

Boggy Lake forecast 20k at 10.30 then 18 all day. Got there at 11.00 10-12k, wasn’t until around 2.00 that it came in around 15 up to 18 and was a really enjoyable sail with Chris Glenn Mike Who Michael Sykes and good to catch up with Joe after a long time. Sam well done on cutting the grass, great job

Stans. Nice sailing wih Hoppy, possibly for the last time this season. Sailed about 5 hours until my old man back started aching. Plenty I wasn't able to use my new sail today. The razorfish weren't a problem before low tide, but lots of sting rays. The razorfish popped up like mushrooms in the incoming tide. I hit the same one twice I think. Nearly binned it the second time, but managed to recover. Poor old Hoppy was pulling bits of weed out of his wettie, his boom and his luff pocket. He looked like Worzel Gummidge Tongue out

Well done on the PB Tricky.

Impressive big runs Hoppy :)

Lake George, SA, AU

Well the LG fairies were out again today with mirror water!!  just crazy times with miles and miles of smooth water to be had.

started at 730am rigged 8.6 but should have riggged 7.8 for the 113L JP with 22 BP delta. worked fine but 8.6 hard to handle.

most riders finding it hard to not spin out. My set up was surprizingly , very good

sailed around the lake looking for speed.

Tricky in zombie mood for the distance, Great work mate, crazy crazy. Tim was there as well, wouldnt be surprized if he did 400km.

drove bacjk to VICTOR at 6pm  OUCH

did i say endless smooth water , the photo of my board is in 25cm of water and there is 20knots going across that water. I could do 30 knots right there.

tricky on the move

LG from the picnic area ( never again only cockys or the spit for me )

S just enough planing 90% time , smallest sail out there i think. F2 stoke , 6.5 ezzy lion, 24 weedy

sailed with the crew from the picnic area just a bloody struggle getting in and out from there.

again couldn't get comfy on the lion chasing settings again.

thanks Ecka's for bringing over a board for me.

LG 122 Isonic-24 BP Kestrel-8.6 Turbo Went out with the Turbo and Isonic, tried to change down to the 7.0mtr mach 1 already rigger ready to go, just a little frustrating, would have loved to have had the 7.8 R8. but theses things happen. 1 GPS went flat so came in when I noticed and put the other on... not sure how many K's i did when the watch went flat, but should be close. manual input.
