Burrum Heads - the planets alligned and made the trek up yonder. A great sail with Phil, Peter, Kelly and Dylan. Really nice session on the small gear and my first time with the Patrik on flat water, really nice to sail and eats ups the chop in the chanel on the upwind legs back to the top, was starting to get it dialed in towards the end of the session. Had to make a pit stop mid session when I broke a uni joint at the top of the run, fortunately could sail it back on the safety cords to replace LOL

A short session in wild conditions. The rrd probably wasnt the perfect board today.

Queens Beach

Forgot my GPS but want to record the session anyway. Stong and hopelessly gusty SSE. Really hard to keep things together with the wind changing strength and direction several time per minute. Got a few good gybes in, but got blown off the tops of waves several times too. Put a long tear in the foot of the sail.

Burrum Heads, QLD, AU

6.2 Simmer SCS, 85 F2, 32 Atomic

AMAZING DAY!

Finally a good session at Burrum with Phil, Glenn and Peter.

Got a couple of small cuts walking over the rocks to get to the water and scraped the fin a bit, then hit a sandbank and had a minor catapault, then cut my foot on the fin coming back in... but it was all worth it to get the PBs Cool

Some amazing gusts in the squalls, easily a solid 20-25 knots. The nautical mile wasn't working for me so I just focused on the 2 sec and Alpha at the top of the run. Really nice to get to push the 6.2 in some stronger wind, the thing just keeps accelerating and feels so nice going off the wind!!!

Super hyped about the Alpha! I wasn't expecting to come away with a new Alpha 1.5 knots HIGHER than my old one Innocent

Definitely a top session at a top location Laughing
