Lake George, SA, AU 15-25+ Southerly

FF85,Evo5.4,CLW24

Day trip with Tricky to the lake. Got there after midday and met up with a few fellow sailors at the lake edge. No hurry to get out there as the wind was light. Chatted for an hour or so and as the wind started to fill in headed out and sailed the bottom end. The 24 was great through the middle but draging at the gybe ends. Kept on the same line waiting for some stronger wind but not quite enough to get me over 40. Great fun though and realy enjoyed the day.

Thanks for the ride there Tricky and nice catching up with Chris D and the othersSmile

Went down the lake and sailed between the islands and in front on the spit. 5.5M3 and 54cm tabou, 14cm tribal. Also used the 48cm speed board and 21cm vector. I had fogotten how easy the little 48cm is too sail, even with the 5.5. The runs were short and there was some weed drag. Maybe should have stayed up at the top of the lake. THe wind was strong at the start, then eased off. I felt comfortable, but never really did the numbers. I think not having a "jetty dog" for lunch cursed me (evey time i have a JD, some sort of PB rolls up. Great to sail with the other fellow Bogans
