Peter (48505km): Barnstable Harbor, Cape Cod. Foil session in gusty northerlies - closest wind meter showed 8-29 mph for the time Nina and I were out, probably 15-30 is closer what we had. Used the Gamma 68 for the second time today. Needed a bit more speed to get going (as expected), but wanted to go up and down a lot, which may have been more due to the gusty wind and the chop that was relatively big for BaHa. Thanks to the 10 ft high tide, I could use the 90 cm mast for a change, so only had a couple of breeches in the almost 2 hours we foiled. Great to get out again after getting fooled by the forecast a few days in a row.
Chris Forenbaher (767km): Highlands, NJ, US Light winds had me testing out my new Falcon Light wind with a 9.4 warp. Over and underpowered at times dealing with a bit of chop made for a good but tiring day!
Kipps (3990km): and there were 15-knot holes too (in the 25-35 wind) deja vu! almost exactly like the last time i was here in 2016 (at least the results this time were better; thanks iS75!). got off the water when the gusts were only in the run-up and braking zones (at the edges) leaving a huge hole in the middle. need to stop coming to Haskins on nuking days! (and putting on broad instead of square fins)
