Byron Mcilveen (66633km):  3 categories    Kanahooka, NSW, AU Race round 1 GPS not the forcasted wind strength but great racing and meeting every one all the same. 6 results 1 slalom race and 5 categories of GPS just got home sore and tired, racing realy does push you and improve you thats for sure. | ||||||||||||||||||
Ian Wright (17159km):  Kanahooka, NSW, AU First round of the NSW GPS/Slalom series. Held at Lake Illawarra and hosted by Koonawarra Bay Sailing Club. BIG thangks to Glen for being R.O. , Byron and Murray for organising and the Locals and Sydney crew for attending on a cold raing day. Also nice to see a few new sailors attending this event. Wind didn't match the forecast 20-25 knots and was more like 5-15 with 20 in the gusts. 1 Slalom race plus a 1 hour and then a half hour GPS with 5 selected catigories to be scored in those time frames. Isonic 117 , Loft Switchblade 7.8 , Zulu 45. Nice combo most of the time. Nice day of sailing had by all that attended and now keen for the next round.
