Right TonyK, We need to set a camp at the lake for a week to accomodate , learn the space and do some distance. I( could imagine that your foil on the 5-7 km stretch , without the need for constant gybing can do more as well. 
Then we could set a challange on the lake - fin versus foil !!! That could be quite interesting for everybody involved, We could even call special challange day for everybody willing. Foil vs Fin Challange on the lake . Distance wise of course.
