wicked day with Stash. just went for speed today. did a wicked alpha but must have been bit big?
smooth section near the spit which we found after 50 km! bugger, wind solid 25 reaching 40.3knots max , then wind went up to 30+ knots.
tried to speed course but a little crazy.
Stash and I could hardly get back to packins point to change down. sailed the 5kms across lake out of harness lines which distroyed me.
change down fin and sail and pulled 2 knots quicker at same spot witn same wind. consistently around 41knots. Amazing! on about 5 to 6 inch chop so not super smooth, a little scary, but doable.
finally 5 x 10 sec at 40knots , water is warm now! packins point is good launch at moment for west
