1211 days ago Grassy Point, Corpus Christi, TX. Nice to get a speed session in after too much foiling. Not a bad start with PBs for the board and for the spot. Low water levels made things nice and flat - a bit like the middle of Lake George on a choppy day  . But while the nearest station says levels were 25 cm lower than in March, most of the weeds still were about 15 cm below the surface.
First time using the Tectonics Speed Demon 23 with an added fillet. Worked beautifully even though there was a slight gap between the board and the fillet. FF99 and RB 6.3 were just right. Winds were up and down a bit which kept the nauti a bit slower than on similar days here before. Definitely a top ten day in Grassy Point, even if it's not quite the "Texas Fangyland" we hoped for when we saw the low water levels.
