Bit gusty, windy, sunny, crowdy but lovely flat deep water again.

Enjoyed the Manta 61 with a 29 wp fin over the chop most today and the chats with a good bunch of blokes. Couldn't dial the Falcon today using a 23wp. Vapor 6.4

Melville Beach, WA, AU sonic 85, 5.4K. 28 Vector pointer

It was my intention to go to Liptons today, but my body had other ideas and ordered a nanna nap, which didn't leave enough time for the drive to Mandurah, so Melville it was.

Melville was at it's gusty worst today. Bullets where you could hardly hold on and then holes with no wind at all. Today reminded me why I drive to Mandurah or Safety Bay so often in the summer. The only thing Melville has going for it is that it is close.

It was nice to catch up with some other team members who decided to stay local today, and it was good not to be coughing and spluttering after every run, at least.

Good fitness training.

Great day at Liptons and first tiime using the 27 WSP ... it felt just right for the conditions. Thanks to Stroppo for the tips and great sailing today mate!

The wind really booted in as I was packing up.

VERY gusty went iut with 6.5 which nearly demolished me then changed to 5.4 Koncept which was much more practical and even bordering on the enjoyable.

105 rocket, 22 delta

Good to see Ben and Anita

Grovelled about at Point Walter between the gusts then headed in to Melville where conditions were better but gusty. Not long after I thought I could have done with a 7.1M the wind kicked in a bit more so I headed back to give Wally World a proper run. Tide was a bit high but now there was enough wind to make it work. Had to dodge a few obstacles, spear fishers, a boat seat, a flipper and some palm fronds all floating about. Happy with a 37, think it's a PB for Wally world. is86, RSR6.2, tsw29

RRD 80 X fire + Severne Overdrive 5.4 + 23 weedspeed. I didn’t feel very comfortable- need to spend some time tuning my gear. I was surprised to get over 35. Good session though!!

Reg you are sailing well! Congratulations on another haul of PBs.

You really are ready for a road tri to flatter PB hunting grounds.

Please post the gear you use so we can look out for you on the water.

I was at Melville today, and so were some other Pinnaroos, but I don't know who you are.

Well done everyone, in particular Anita and Dave and Scott.  There were some very fast young men in Mandurah!  Well done for making the most of the conditions. I am wondering how windy it has to be for the young guns to improve on their PB's because I was really hanging on today with my rare, tiny, 5m Mach3 and an ancient but lovely iSonic 86 (slim).

Reg: You don't need more wind, you just need longer gusts and flatter water.

I have never done 30 knots on the river but have done 35 and 36 multiple times at Mandurah

Ben, that was a super allround session for a very gusty river this afternoon. 101km, 37 knots and a 23 knot alpha is really good going.

Well done, team, on some good results all round, and another bunch of PBs.

Well done team Pinnas. Some sweet PBs there Reg and Scott. Well done. That’s a great set of numbers at Melville Ben. Just shows that Melville can deliver if you’re good enough. Great sailing.

Well done Jason. Naughty PB's can be a bit of a slog. Considering you weren't feeling comfortable you're doing great to be within 1 or 2 knotts of Woody, Ant and Scott.
