Out on the Lake with fellow pirates Pete and Neil, plus Sam, James and Richard.  James retired early with a broken mast and I left it to Pete and Sam after conditions got a bit patchy yet again.

Lake Cootharaba, Gustier than normal NE seabreeze and died off early. Came back in about 5.30 as we were leaving but storms were getting closer. No wind on western side meant shorter runs than normal. Falcon114 / atomic 32 Ww / 7.8.

Rollicking sail on tumbly seas , hard to find flattish water. Surprisingly strong breeze from NE , enough to be well powered on 7.8 OD especially towards the east. Later , the wind seemed to draw away from the western side making Elanda a no-go-zone. An hour or so of consistent planing eased to softer but ok conditions before finally resulting in a short dredge home. Pirates Pete and Greybeard came for a play with lubbers Sam , James and Richard in the mix. Unfortunately James returned with a 3 part mast resulting in an extended session of aquarobics as he made his way back from the western side.
