Great day out! we had wind for what seems to be the first time this season!

KA5.4, IS87, V29 Atawhai - hide tide. Wind was North 20 - 37knots. Slalom session and went for the hour despite the chop!  Thought I would get a better result but the runs were short (0.58NM or 1.08Km) so I guess a venue with longer runs would help. 2Sec was 31.607 and 5x10 was 29.661 during this setup.

The wind dropped then came again later NW 20-30knots. KA5.4, W48, V24 (first time out on the W49 this season) was used at Ackerstern - low tide. 2sec and 5 x 10sec was on this gear. Run was too tight for any good speeds. I tried the bolderbank run towards the light house but there was not enough wing and not enough 'West' in the NW for that to work....perhaps the slalom board would provided an ok bolderbank run today.

Motukarara, Canterbury, Nice session out at Greenpark, Well done to Miranda in these conditions which was gusty and square. Its easy sailing in a straight line but when theres a bank in front of you and theres no choice but to bear off its a bit more scary. Not for the wanabes anyway. Well done to Stephen on your pbs, looks like a stomping session. FS 50 M1 5.5, Mykz 21
