1407 days ago Stansbury SSW-S 12-16knots with some 15-17 later
FF102,GPS7.3,FF22fat
Straya day sail. Set about to sail the hour on the flat water and it was an interesting test against the FF24fat that Tricky was using. The wind wasn't very strong but the 7.3 was up and about all session. Must have sailed inside the spit for a few hours before crossing over and sailing out to the white patch. The wind did pick up a tad to 15-18 and it was great fun for a while but short lived as it petered out again and i settled into the light wind to finish the session.
Great to be out on the water with Trick on Straya Day

1407 days ago 1 categories Got a right royal flogging today, Hoppy was giving master class in light wind sailing & staying on the plane
Rigged the 7m Loft RB CA SL 101 FF24 made the coment that it looked like it would be a struggle to hit 30knts today
might have put the mockers on that All in all it was a cracker day just cruzing on the spit, even if it felt like it was going to kick up a knt or two but only teased us all day Solid session on OZi day

1407 days ago el Bog. Needed more juice !, but didn't stop me exploring. Nice meeting you for the first time Oversize, Kraken and Lucky . Nice meeting you again Caddy and Needspeed. Nargh, Boggy was good hey. I liked it. Better than the beaches full of f/wits on a PH. 6.0 NCX, 109 supersport, 30 slalom MUF.
Glad you had a good sesh Trick and Hop. I was thinking about Stans today, but was not happy with the tide.
Well done Sellicks on the 36

1407 days ago Lake George - 20 to 25 with some stronger gusts.
Fun day with Koshi, Shane and Nicola - great to catch up. Went out early in the glass and managed to get a PB on the Patrik 100 and 7m with the new Tribal delta 20 - wow so fast and rock solid. A couple of 35's on the way down to the spit and then enjoyed glassy conditions for a couple of hours. Managed several 36's and ended up with a 37.75 on the screen - YEEHAR!!
The wind picked up so went back to change down sails and board. Back out on the 87 Patrik and 6.3m ka race and Tribal delta 20 worked great in this board too. A few runs in front of 5 mile and found it hard to time a gust so headed back to the spit. The weed bombies were everywhere had some fun dodging them and topped up some k's and headed back to shore.
Patrik 100 - 7m - Delta tribal 20 - 37.75 screen
Patrik 87 - 6.3m - Detlta tribal 20 - 37.88 - 2 sec peak on Patrik 100.
Warm up for tomorrow with a really good forecast so hope to get on the speedy and do some speed...
Patrik 100 / Patrik 87 / 2020 ka sail race 7m / 6.3m / Tribal delta 20.

1407 days ago Go to get out for a sail I dont think I have sailed since Oct so there were a few cobwebs to blow out. Some good gusts had be cruising along with the 7.8 on a 121L but was left glugging inbetween, should have rigged the 8.6m
I called it a day early when the lulls were getting longer leaving the other chaps up the top on bigger gear.
Good first sail for the year.
