Geez it rained last night, thought I was back in FNQ, saw a fellow speedster float past on his waterbed so I thought it was going to be cuddle time in the cubby house with child bride today. Got up late cos I can, word on the street was wind will be crap direction and gusty, but hte LG Lord Mayor said it'll be ok Bobby, forget the numbers and we'll have a fun sail at the spit. On the way the clouds looked black, bugger this might be crap but I'll head down and give JB some company and a look see. Hmmm looks ok, rigged the smaller of my two sails and my only board and off we went, wow had a ball, wind was up n down but once off some nice long runs to be had. I just sailed across the wind, no real downwinders, JB showed me the lay of the land then did his fun thing zipping around cos he can jybe, show off. I stuck to long runs across the wind, when my pinkies turned blue I called it, had a beer with JB as the rain came in and I was thinking this might be best day so far. Got home and child bride has the heater on and poured the rums, yep best day so far

1415 days ago Liptons Lock Down sail, hopefully last lock down ever. Lighter wind session today about 12 to 16kts with one gust of 20ish, missed the stronger winds bec of work. First run was the best then wind faded after that, and never cracked 30kts again. All 29's.
