Hardie (35858km): Liptons fabulous sail with glassy patches of water, did my fastest runs in less wind on the glassy water than when the wind picked up and I sailed in chop. Dr Cam is here and he couldn't lower himself to sail at Liptons, after a week at Lilacs.
waricle (19211km): Albany WA Tabou 85 Switchblade 6.8 fangy 24 cut to 21. Wind less than yesterday, measured 10-12 gusting to 15 Kts. I left my helmet and motion at home. Was able to pump up onto the plane and continuously plane every run and even accelerated on the smooth. Water was low so needed a small fin but it was really too small for the wide board. Had an hour of Albany glass goodness
Bully boy fat Basil (4932km): Peel Inlet, WA, AU Loight winder with Hardy and Remery on group day pass from St Hueys home for the terminally optimistic. At least we got on the water when the wind ? arrived and got off before it dissapeared.
remery (5385km): Peel Inlet, WA, AU A nice cruise with Hardie and Basil.
Firiebob (18005km): The Spit, Lake George, SA, AU Does it get any better than this, my memory must be buggered because every day I think is the best day ever. Got to the spit and JB was about to hit the water saying hurry before the glass goes. I start rigging and all I can hear is the bastard woohooing all the time, I've never rigged so fast. Acres and acres of glass water, unbelievable, just the two of us till Jill joined the fun, carving lines from one end to the other for over an hour. Once the wind started and most of the smooth went I just zipped around looking for gusts and some flat, great fun trying to chase people, didn't even get that cold. Last day on the great lake, tucker in town with the mayor and a couple of hot ladies and a few drinks, life's great. Off on Monday to Lake Gairdiner, then Lake Eyre, true. A big shout out to all the people I got to share the lake with over the last month, if not in WA I'll see you in a couple of years. Carbon Art SL87, Pepefoil 18 Delta, 6.6 Koncept and a used rubber. Internet's poop, posting has been a struggle
