GPS Team Challenge - Illawarra Speedsters (NSW, Australia)

Day 1. Frustrating late start to the wind. One the water from 11am with the 7.7m North Warp and Fanatic Falcon 104, MUF Delta XT 22. Two squalls came and went but only really provided 10 minutes of excitement. Finally at 2pm the wind switched from SW to S and switched on, but not super strong. Stayed on the 7.7 all day despite it getting slower and dragier as the wind increase, as I really couldn't be bothered heading in through the mud for a re-rig. Changed down boards half way through to the Exocet RS2 with MUF Delta XT 20, but still with the 7.7. Wind died at 5:30 so no chance of chasing a distance PB. Lots and lots of people out once the wind kicked in. Great to be back in Beachport and again sailing the glassy, weedy, glassy goodness of LG. Rinse and repeat tomorrow but hopefully more wind!!

Fun afternoon @ Lake George, SA, AU Wind came in mid afternoon after fluffing around for a few hrs. After a few false starts settled on the 7.0 and 58wide. This was great for the conditions. Not quite enough for any good speeds but still great to be out. Gun GSR 7.8 then 7.1. ISonic 107 with Delta XT24 then Carbon Art S58 with Tectonic Speed Demon 23.
