1385 days ago Grassy Pt, CC, TX. NE wind came in stronger than predicted, with 20-22 knot averages. Nicely powered on RB 7.8/FF112/WD35, I start to really like the combo. When I heard GPSLogit announce lots of 29s and 30s on a long run, I figured I'd give the hour a shot. Heard mostly 25 and 26 one direction, a couple knots more the other direction, but with "only" 2 km long runs (runs are easily 2x as long in SE) and a bit of chop at the jibe spots, that was not enough for a top 5 entry.
When I decided to sail back in, I somehow did not see Nina, even though the GPS tracks say she passed me 80 meters upwind on her way in. I ended up sailing a bit back and forth with breaks to look for her, but between the glare of the sun and her being about 2 km away, I did not spot her. So sailed back out between the islands to look for her upwind, before giving up and sailing the few km downwind to the launch, where she was waiting for me.

1385 days ago Grassy Pt, Corpus Christi. Isonic 54, RB6.3, SD 19. Mostly underpowered today, wonder what a 7.0 and/or bigger fin and board would have been like. A bit difficult to go 4 km upwind to our usual spot, but water level and wind direction were wrong for a causeway launch.
