1091 days ago Green Island, QLD, AU Short session on the Island today .Wasnt expecting much but it was surprisingly good -20-28 knots with more South in it today .
Started on the FF 52.5 w speed with the Evo 11 6.4 Tribal Delta 18 then switched to the JP 60 w with Tribal SW 27 .
Once again the JP was quicker by a knot .
Ran out of steam quickly today -foolishly took my helmet off after ~ 15 mins to get some photos ,hit a wind shadow close to the island at 38 knots & ended up going head first into the boom .Ouch ..!!
Lots of visitors back on the island today which is great to see ...
Hopefully a long & windy winter

Fun wind down session on the mountain with all of the children in tow - The Drinnans, Doc Bally, Ari, Mark (Eds Bro) and of course B2, with the Captn making a show late in the session after an epic session yesterday.
Looked to be the last of this current SE blast before dying away tomorrow. No where near enough fuel in the tank after yesterday, but it was pretty nice to catch up with the other side of the Mob Family. Every one knows Tinaroo - if your not dredging, your hanging on for dear life. The lads were still racking up the K's when I departed, so hopefully, there is some reasonable numbers to follow.
Used: WTSB72, 9.4 ODM2, 46 Tribal Mk1 - just noticed my NM has two gybes in it !!! Only at Tinaroo

Short distance cool down sesh at the dam with some of the Mobsters. Felt a bit heavy/energy zapped after yesterday's sail. More off the plane than on today= lots of time for a chin wag in the lulls waiting for the next set of gusts... One gybe in my nauti & it was a pretty ordinary one...
James & Ian were sailing really well in the light stuff which made me happily jealous!
Lots of gear spread out on the lake bank including foils & a wing ding + ski boats & jet skis tearing around chopping up the water... How rude!
Still all great to get up the mountain (so so scenic!) & catch up with everyone.
Used the Jag 125, Severne M2 8.6, BP Sabre 42.5 then Venom 48
