Day 4, things are hurting. Similar to yesterday with short burst of breeze followed by marginal conditions. definitely faster for the lightweights and those with slalom gear. i was first in, managing to snag a planing run right to the ramp, then 15 minutes later it blew like crazy. should be some good speeds today. Windtech SB72, 7.5 Ezzy Lion, 42 Tribal

Port Douglas, QLD, AU managed to get a sail in after work with Rick and Andrew  i managed to talk James in coming out as well ..Wind didn't look that good when we hit the water but it freshened up enough to have a good fun blast, tide was way out but coming in fast, water was flat in close and just a nice bit of chop out the back to play in..Had a few good up wind drags with the boys wasn't alot in it.. 120 Fox 7.8m sail 44cmfin,ran sweet after i managed to get it dialed in..Andrew was on 140Fox with a really big rig and the boys were very impressed with his performance well done mate..Rick and James never put a foot wrong all arvo and i couldn't really tell who was the quickest out of the two.I Usually find it hard to get very excited about light wind  blasting but i actually had fun and enjoyed pulling up for a quick chat with the boys and having another play race up wind..didn't do any down winders didn't feel like doing the hard yards back against fast in coming tide..guess it was worth rigging up for..Cheers Ed..

Them's session are slowly building lads. Day 4 looks to have held the best to date. Been watching with anticipation. Such a wonderful place. Great to see the FNQ contingent having a ball.

Lucky Ed talked me into coming down. With the wind readings dropping at Low and Arlington I nearly gave it a miss, but glad I didnt. Great arvo sailing in 15 -16 kn and beautiful weather. Good to see Rick and Andrew sailing so well, I think Ed`s been running coaching clinics in the off season !!  the "man of the match" goes to Ed today who sailed right thru to sun down and clocked up an impressive quick 75 kms, well done Ed.
