| Peter (48505km): 1 categories  Kennedy Slicks, Cape Cod. Nice to get a session on slalom gear for a change. We happened to pick the period where the wind was lightest, but still enough to be mostly powered on RB6.3/FF99. I definitely have to work on my fitness, though. I was glad we had to keep the session short to deal with the contractors who were removing our deck. Good bye, carpenter ants and termites, and endless hours of replacing and painting deck boards. | ||||||||||||||||||
Kipps (3990km):  6 categories      decent day at The Stick! fog bank in the Alemany Gap giving the wind a lot of north, punchiness, and making for short runways around that big hole in the middle (barely managed a 30-kt 500m!). at least it was uncrowded so easy to blast off a run in the right gusts. gear tweaking amid the up & down, and fin change (D235) during the big drop, which wasn't terminal – unlike a tech issue with my sail. that didn't give me the chance to get another handful of runs and possibly improve the result. iS63/ 6.2OD/ S32(D235) | ||||||||||||||||||
