Olive Reserve, WA, AU CA66 KAR 7.1reboxed TWS 31 Wind was a lot less than forecast surprise surprise. Just Decrepid and I out. He suggested I bring big gear, just as well. I was able to stay on the plane all the time but never maxed. Cold 🥶 so only a short session but still worthwhile. Roll on summer.

Feels like first winter blast, hands were frozen, didn't last very long.

Wind was lighter than expected, which may be a good thing, meant the chop was manageable.

Glad for once I rigged for the conditions not the forecast, I would have been sinking otherwise.

Used the 53cm board 26@45 weedy and 6.2 Koncept.

Just Waricle and me out. Launched from Cobblers and a downwind run to Ward point, this had some relatively flat spots that were fun.

Nice to get out, but it's just as good to be home in the warm!

Bit surprised where my top speed is, should have had a few more runs there

Decrepit, your peak was in the lee of Ward Point, why didn't you do more runs there?  Oh, I just read that you asked that question too....great minds think alike eh?!  I'll remember that spot for the next NNE blow.

Reg, it wasn't in the lee of ward pt, it was just as choppy there as the other side, it just must have been a stronger gust.
