Sailquik (29582km): Sandy Point, Vic. A very nice SW wind today mostly around 20 knots but up and down a bit. Very good angle for just blasting up and down. I'm not feeling fit enough to do a non stop 1Hr, but it would have been a nice wind to try one in. I sailed for just on 1.5 hrs and was pretty stuffed at the end. Need to get sailing fitness back! Good fun though. Just Tone and I, but a few others turned up as I was leavng. IS80, KA Speed 5.7m, Atomic Weapon raked Prototype 30cm. Fin worked VERY well.
kato (37642km): Inverloch, VIC, AU Couldn,t use the 6.6 due to yesterdays operator error, so 5.7 or 7.7....... Go hard or stay on the beach 7.7 it is. A short play on the bar untill it went under then it was a play at the entrance untill the waves can in. Back to the inside runs as the bar was under enough to miss and do some longer runs. Way overcookedon the big gear but sooo much fun finding the gaps in the waves and wind to put down some good runs. The Sl66 has always been a problem child, just never finding the right fin to drive it until now. The 36 is just perfect and you can just let the board fly off the fin knowing that its not going to let go no matter what you through at it. Loved it Perfect day !!! Sl 66, Weapon 36,KaRace 7.7 (Way too big but who cares )

late edition to the post, found that Speedreader can give you a speed graph if tracks are uploaded to GoogleEarth, another fav app can be combined with another fav app! |
